The design of injection mould tools is a highly specialised field, requiring analytical understanding of the product as well as detailed knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. The importance of the tool cannot be overstated as it affects the efficiency of manufacture and of course the quality of the product.

At Faber Technology we use the latest Pro-Engineer CAD software for full 3D modelling. Our wealth of experience enables us to provide exceptional design and project management support, from conceptual design through to tool manufacture by our trusted toolmakers and production of the first component in our Newtown injection moulding facilities.

In House Tooling Maintenance

Where we can, we refurbish and make minor modifications to existing injection moulding tools to rectify poor quality mouldings and reduce scrappage rates. We have trusted third party tooling engineers who perform more major modifications and repairs.

As part of an ongoing service to our customers we carry out routine maintenance of our clients' tooling.

We take care of our clients' tooling by utilising bespoke heavy duty racking for their storage. We avoid damage and injury to personnel by investing in state of the art overhead lifting gear throughout our manufacturing facility.
